Glossary of Marketing Studies and Research
A pop-up survey is a pop-up window that appears on a website and propose the web user to answer a few questions about the website. The advantage of this type of survey is that it is addressed specifically to the target, respondents that are already interested on the subject in question. The pop-up window is proposed only one time to the web user in order to avoid upsetting the website visitor. The window can be activated at any moment required by the company : when entering the site, at the end of a specific operation (online purchasing, for example), when the web user leaves the website.
